Attn: teachers, coaches, parents, counselors, youth workers...these trainings are for YOU. Trainings are designed for anyone who wants a basic understanding of youth mental health and how to provide support and connect young people to the help they need.
Youth Mental Health First Aid
YMHFA is an 5-hour training (plus up to 2 hrs of online pre-work) that helps adults who regularly interact with youth to recognize, support, and refer youth who are experiencing mental health challenges or may be in crisis. It gives adults the skills they need to provide initial support and connect adolescents (ages 12-18) to appropriate care.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)
QPR is a 2-hour training in which participants will learn three simple steps to help prevent suicide and be a resource for someone who might be struggling. Training participants learn how to recognize suicide risk factors, how to intervene, and how to refer someone in need.
