WAYS TO GIVE
Make a One-Time Cash Gift
A single gift makes an immediate difference for kids, parents, and caregivers across the Merrimack Valley. Your support fuels youth development, crisis response, and family-strengthening programs right here in our community.
Make a Recurring Gift
Monthly gifts provide steady, reliable support that allows us to plan ahead and meet needs as they arise. Even a small recurring gift adds up to big impact.
Honor/Remember Someone Special
Make a gift in honor or memory of someone in a meaningful way to celebrate their life while helping local families access support, healing, and connection.
Gifts of Stock
Donating appreciated stock can be a tax-smart way to give. In many cases, donors may avoid capital gains tax and deduct the full value of the gift. If you’d like to make a stock gift, your financial advisor can help initiate the transfer.
Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
If you have a Donor-Advised Fund, you can recommend a grant to Family Services at any time. It’s a simple and flexible way to make a meaningful impact. Talk to your financial advisor today.
Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts
Many employers offer ways to give through payroll deductions or match charitable contributions, sometimes doubling or tripling your gift. Check with your HR or corporate giving team to see what options are available.
Include Family Services in Your Will or Estate Plans
A gift in your will is a heartfelt way to ensure families continue to have access to safety, healing, and opportunity. Whether you choose a percentage of your estate or a specific amount, your gift reflects your belief in stronger families and a stronger community.
Gifts From Retirement Accounts
If you are 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. This type of gift can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution without increasing your taxable income.
Talk to your financial advisor about other ways to make non-cash gifts.
