Emotional Wellness
Family Services provides a wide array of treatment and support programs for individual who have experienced trauma or are struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues, and support and training for the family members and professionals who care for them.
Counseling Center
Family Services’ Counseling Center is a state-licensed mental health clinic that provides professional, compassionate treatment to individuals struggling with mental health challenges in individual and group settings, in virtual, hybrid and in-person sessions.
Therapeutic Mentoring for youth is also offered through out state-licensed Counseling Center.
Samaritans
The Samaritans of Merrimack Valley program has been providing suicide prevention and postvention services since 1985. Through trainings, outreach, education, support groups and individual support, the Samaritans aims to prevent suicide throughout Massachusetts.
988 Lifeline
Family Services’ Suicide & Crisis Lifeline can be reached by calling 988 or our local number: 978-327-6607. Both numbers will connect callers with trained crisis counselors who can provide a compassionate ear for people in emotional distress.
Training
Training for people from all walks of life (volunteers, teachers, coaches, parents, clinicians, social workers, first responders, and others) are provided to empower people with the knowledge and skills to identify and intervene with someone who may be struggling with a mental health challenge.
Trauma Response
Family Services’ Trauma Response Team is available to organizations (businesses, community groups, schools, municipalities, etc.) which have recently experienced a traumatic event, such as a sudden death, catastrophic weather event, or workplace violence. Trauma response services help organizations process the event and promote health and healing going forward.
